As part of workplace continuous improvement, SafetyFirst members are encouraged to provide OHS statistics on a  quarterly basis regarding apprentices and trainees to assist with tracking overall performance and comparisons with similar organisations and industry sectors throughout Australia.

Organisations who regularly participate with this data collection will also gain FREE access to the "industry averages/ benchmarks" which can be used to assist performance comparisons against other similar industries.
Statistics collected include;
- Industry
- Age group
- Apprenticeship level
- Gender
- Type of Injury
- Bodily location of injury
- Time off work
- Time in restricted duties
With data being released on a quarterly basis, SafetyFirst has seen over 5000 apprentices/trainees entered into the system so far which is showing very positive results.
